Enclosed is a page from the Oct. 1964 Motor Trend Mag. It shows a 65 Skylark Ht. but with NO side chrome trim and the GS front fenders with the GS port holes. Very interesting.

They really were playing catch up in the muscle game. My 65 GS came with a 64 heavy duty rear in it!!!

This ad proves they were behind the 8 ball.
