door panel interchange

Anyone have experience with two door post doors using hardtop door panels? I know they are different, but I don't have a hardtop door to look at so I don't know if the hardtop panels can be made to fit a post door. Anyone ever try this?

The post and hardtop door panels are totally different. I asked Legendary about these and they suggested trying SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon. Wouldn't be cheap.
