65 GS Side View Mirror
« on: February 04, 2009, 12:04:04 AM »
My question is, did they come with out door mounted mirror?

My car has no holes in the door but has two holes on the driver fender??

And the door clearly wasn't ever painted. The whole car had original paint. Or should I say Lack of original paint. It was almost all faded off.

Joe,

I was waiting to see what others posted and had to say, but I could've sworn that I seen a picture of a 64 or 65 that had the mirrors mounted out there on the fenders.

I don't know if that was a dealer installed thing or just the "cool thing to do" as some of the British cars of the time mounted them was out there also.

Found it. This car belongs to a V8 member and had plans to put a sbc with twin turbos but has decided to sell it.

Too Bad.
